The session will focus on interoperability issues in different areas, such as learning content and repositories, accessibility, assessment, administration, learner information, and learning activity. More in particular the findings of the project, which are based on expert workshops
in each of the area, will be presented and discussed with the participants. More in particular the session will discuss the way ahead. The main audience of the session will be the policy makers, industry representatives and academia.

As one of the outcomes of the LIFE project, a guide called Roadmap to eLearning Interoperability will be published. The roadmap will be a report including a practitioner's guide to interoperability, and also include policy recommendations concerning the practical application of interoperability. The Roadmap to eLearning Interoperability is expected to come out in the beginning of 2007.
