EUN presents MINOR at eMapps.com workshop in Ljubljana
In October 2006, EUN released the first version of MINOR: An open-source repository of learning resources and metadata. MINOR was presented for the first time to the eMapps teachers on 7 November 2006 during a workshop organised in Ljubljana, Slovenia. MINOR was developed by EUN in the framework of the eMapps.com project (http://eMapps.com/). MINOR is a repository to store, manage, and exchange the multimedia assets produced by teachers during the project.
Minor was designed to be interoperable and comes with a built-in connection to the EUN Learning Resource Exchange. Other EUN partners lacking resource in the field of metadata storage and sharing will benefit from the MINOR repository to be able to make their resource available to other partners thought the LRE federation.MINOR source code:
